it was said in a movie or in a book, i dont remember Very Happy that guys should be more interested in playing with dolls, i mean examining the dolls rather than G.I Joe because it shows their interest for the other sex. Smile

my remark does not surpass your first post in this thread Razz

and I'm not "sexist' or "gay unfriendly". i have not said anything pointing to that Razz it's just your lame deductions that made you think that Very Happy

in my first post I said Barbie's for girl, I think there's nothing abnormal to saying it, the people who market these toys would want that, just look at the publicities on cartoon network, u'd see girls only !! isn't it what everybody thinks of?

Now, the issue is that you're saying guy's should try using their brain, I understand behind that u'r asuming girls have more, ...surprising for someone who's against sexism to tel such things,...being against sexism is being for an equality between both sexes, which I uptil now never contradicted, but you just did by saying that little sentence there

that's for the sexism part

now for the "gay unfriendly" part, I sais that because I think ur beeing an hypocrite by trying to hide this part of yourself when you say it is "alarming" for a boy to play with Gi Joe cause else he wont take interest in female body (u said that inderectly as an answer to John)...for me its clear and cut, ur saying "alarming" is a pejorative word to describe someone who's gay

Thus I would also like to give my point of view on this subject: firstly, I really don't think that a kid can start taking sexual interest in what he's or she's doing by playing with toys, that's plain rubbish....when you were 6 year old, did you ever think of sex?? ...well I didn't , neither do all the kids of this age , and that upto puberty !! In fact, it is hormones which are secreted in your body which makes you realise these things...and adult male playing with barbies has more sexual connotation...so a kid playing with toys wont even think of a second of sex and that will never guide his/her sexual orientations...
Also, being gay or lesbian has little to do with your environment. Adopted kids, raise by gay parents don't turn out to be gay for example...it's just the part of human nature which makes that someone is different to the other and can think differently,...and that's the beauty of humanity and we should respect these different thoughts of each and everyone
if you don't understand that, well I won't say that your lame, cause I'm willing to talk sense here and that my aim il aslo to give a consider ation and a minimum of respect to others,...but however I just maintain that your still immature (I bet that you must be around 18-19 maximum),

but don't consider that as a criticism, consider that as there's still a lot of place for improvement, and I firmly believe that with your energy your capable of demonstrating a lot afterwards, that's a positive sign but learn to canalise it into the good direction and thought power

Peace

I hope this is the end of this little in-depth character analysis on who is against gays or who is against guys or girls, which in my opinion has turned out to be nothing else but an insignificant flame war.

indeed, a flame war Razz - avoid going to war. it messes up the thread and everybody is friendly on the forums.

gay friendly or not, i, as a straight man, admit that John Barrowman is kinda hot and cute! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Barrowman

I've never had a barbie. As a child I used to like dolls that look like babies rather than young girls. As for my other dolls and teddies, I still have them all in my room and some in the store room. Embarassed Rolling Eyes
I don't have the heart to give them away.

ah ok Smile ... I never played with female dolls when I was a kid, rather saint seya figurines cause that was THE thing at that time. I guess the interest for the other sex grew later ( I confirm )

he looks young that guy in the picture for someone who's supposed to be 41 !!!
gay people are for most of them very good looking, in fact they accord a lot of attention to their appearance,
I remember I used to go to a popular gym in France, and most of these extremely well built and very good looking guys turned out to be gay ! Any girl would be disgusted I guess to know that such guys aren't straitght lol

a bon entendeur
